My whole concentration theme for this year is about me. I have never done a lot or any art that I remember that represented me. I would usually always make my art about something that I strongly believed in and I wanted to share with the world, but I believe the reason why I made art that represents me this year is because I miss my hometown. I am from San Martin, Michoacan, in Mexico, and my hometown has a lot of memories that I always want to remember and never forget. There are mainly memories from my childhood and, to tell you the truth, I'm scared to lose touch with my childhood. Then, I remembered I had so many great memories from having the chance to learn and love farming, to spending time on my dad's land working side by side with him. If I ever get married and have kids, I want to pass down the loving memories learning how to adore and respect nature to raising animals. I know that these pieces aren't as big or glamorous as other artists but, to me, they're the best artwork that I have ever made because they hold many special events in my life and I have the pleasure to share it with you.
