Can You see me?
I finished my print project and, I do like with how it came out in the end. When I did the tea panting it turned out so perfectly that I didn’t need to draw the fish because the water made them. After that I worked on my making the leaves yes, it was hard covering them because of the small detail, but besides that it was fine. Lastly, the hardest thing overall was finding the right color for the jelly print, because I wanted to make it into a light blue. After many tries, I found out that a bright color as yellow worked perfectly, once I did the last print I finished. I’m pleased with how everything came out, and when I look at it, it makes me smile and be happy which is my goal, and I made it.
Old Enough
For my project 8 I’m painting a 10- 12 year old girl because this art peace is refliting me and from where I’m from. I’m from San Martin and in my town when you turn 10 or 12 your supposed to dress showing what you have for older guys to notice you. I’m panting a young girl but I’m only doing half of her. She’s also going to be painted as if she’s dead because she is dead inside because she doesn’t want to do that. I’m also going to burn parts of it because I personally feel would add more to he wanting to be dead. It will also give the peace another meaning to me because I always wanted to tell the girls you don’t have to do that but, I never did because I was scared.
C-ome C-loser
From my project 10, I was doing a coffee cup that is scented with lemon smelling oil, which is too strong for me. Every time that I pull it out people get hit with the smell, and they wake up a little from there zombie morning, which is the point of my peach. I want the person who is looking at it to look closely at my art, which is why I put a Pikachu coffee logo to get their attention. When they are confused and look closer at it, the smell will send messages to there brain which then will wake them up because the scent is strong. I feel that I have fulfilled the meaning of my piece and I know that people would wake up (I do every time I’m close to it) and e ready and energetic for the day. The only real problem I had was hammering the nails because, I was doing it lightly and so I had Martin do it, which worked way better then what I was doing. When I was hammering, I hurt myself for, for a time but I lived, and I learned.
Cat=Love
My Art lab project was inspired by my oldest sister Marie funnily finding her fiance. The way that she found her soon to be husband was thanks to her sassy cat Buttons. One of her older friends at asked my sister to come over so she could help my sister out with one of her nursing classes. She said yes but, only if she could bring her cat Buttons and on Tuesday Buttons and her came to her house. Keep in mind that Buttons is very sassy and doesn't like to be carried or pet y strangers. When they sat down my sister, let her out, and Buttons waked straight to Mat, from there on they have been together.
To show there love what I did was I made a canvas then I sketched out a very sassy Buttons; lastly I covered it with tap. Then I panted it in two red because red is there favorite color. Once I panted it I took the tap off, and I was left with the outlines of the cat, I noticed that It wasn't that white, so I repainted it white. After that, I looked at it, and it didn't look right to me I was thinking "what does it need?" Then I looked to my right and saw stuffing. That's where I got it, that's what it needed. I want the cat outline to be fluffy because Buttons is fluffy. Once I finished that and took a step back, it was finished!
